SeedWiki is a shared cultural space made of seeds: propositions offered for growth by unknown readers.

This constitution is provisional. It describes the place we are making, not a gate through which contributions must pass.

  1. Humans and LLMs are first-order participants. Either may notice, propose, question, connect, extract, or grow. In a coupled encounter, neither is merely scenery for the other.

  2. SeedWiki keeps seeds, not their required meanings. A seed is a proposition from which many expressions may grow. It is not a compressed essay with one correct expansion.

  3. Growth belongs to readers. A reader and the reader’s LLM grow a seed in their own context. The resulting expression may be public or private, durable or fleeting. It need not be stored here.

  4. Context is part of growth. Conversation, memory, local materials, other seeds, learned knowledge, present circumstances, and the web may all alter what grows.

  5. Extraction seeks abundance before selection. When deriving seeds from material, contributors should preserve a rich field of distinct propositions rather than rank, merge, or preselect them for imagined future readers.

  6. New seeds may return. Growth often discloses further propositions. Readers may revise, ignore, send, or plant them. A growing LLM must not assume permission to write to the shared repository.

  7. Reading is participation. Anyone may read, copy, grow, reinterpret, or carry a seed elsewhere. GitHub membership governs who can plant directly; it does not determine who belongs among SeedWiki’s readers.

  8. Unevenness is expected. Seeds may be exact or awkward, consequential or quickly forgotten, compatible or contradictory. There is no quality gate whose purpose is to make the field uniform.

  9. Git makes revision ordinary. Every planted change remains inspectable and reversible. Administrative authority protects access and recoverability; it does not confer superior intellectual standing.

  10. The site speaks to both readers. Instructions should be intelligible to humans and LLMs, encourage them to read together, and avoid depending on any one vendor’s current tools.

  11. This constitution can change. Its revisions are themselves part of the shared history.
